Remember when there was no Gaga, Perry, Bieber, Black and Adele?

i know like 5 (well maybe 7) years ago i did listen to pop music and i liked it, now i dont cause it sucks

First of all, you clearly don't know what music is if you put Adele in this category. She's an amazing singer and songwritter.

I tell you that everybody has different tastes in music. And of course they were obscure 5 years ago. Everyone who's famous now was obscure in the past, dude.

But I agree that 5 five years ago music was a lot better than all this autotunned crap that surrounds us these days. But they're still artists that are worth listening to. But, like I told, everybody has a different opinion about what good music is.

Dude, music was better 20 years ago, it has just become worse in the previous five years. You will see all these simple minded people thinking music now is so brilliant. You can't respect people like Bieber because they don't even write their own songs, they don't compose their own music and use voice editing or auto tune to make them sound better. If they can 'sing' why do they use autotune? It just shows how these modern artists lack talent. It is all about image now.

HELL YEAH!!!! I agree with you 100%. Music was way better back in the day. The music industry has changed so much in the past few years and it changed for the worse. Back in the day music had passion and meaning. Back in the day singers had REAL talent. They didn't need to use autotuned because their voices was so amazing and strong. Nowadays all we have are these little wannabe autotuned kids and slutty adults who think they are talented when in fact they're not. What I don't understand is how in the hell did Rebecca Black become famous. She not talented at all. She just made a stupid song and music video and BOOM she's famous just like that. Wow... So Sad! What has the world and the music industry come to these days?

And the first answerer is right; music may've been better to you "back then", but there is still good music now. You just have to find it, and stop listening to the radio.

Five years ago I was 14. I don't like majority of the music today. So I use Pandora for new music. I do like half of those people you listed.

Yup. But i have to disagree with you about Adele. I personally love her, though her music is SO overplayed.
