Why does my ps3's frame rate seem to drop and go all jumpy when online on MW3?
Is this lag?? it says i am on a 4 bar connection and when it goes jumpy i am usually host, so when i quit i cause a host migration, ruining the game for loads of people. as im host a lot i know i dont have a bad connection and therefore shouldn't be lagging? help and any advice ? is a big 40gb ps3 that came out with GT5 prologue, whenever that was :)

Depends how low your frame rate is. If its not connection, its simpily the fact that you have the old, slower ps3 (I have the same one), maybe its getting a bit old. It could be overheating, not sure if you thought of that or not. Try ventilationg it a bit more efficiently.
It could also be that you are out of storage space on your console. Software runs slower on clogged up hardware :P
