Army Chapter 18 , time to actually get out?
After being flagged for overweight and getting off the weight program, then weight over again.Received negative counseling to recommend separation or chapter 18. How long does it actually take to get out from the time the soldier receives the negative counseling and recommendation for separation (chaptering out)?

It can take as long as it takes...
They might screw with you until your contract expires...
might even put you in a FAT BODY Platoon and Run
you Day & Night until you are at an acceptable weight...
So don't go planning anything in the near future...

I've processed entire chapter packets in 2 days to include cutting of new ETS orders.
So. I'd say you could be completely out of the army in less than 3 weeks. But I'd say on average 4 weeks to include 2 weeks to clear the post and the Army.
