Neither. BOTH will last longer than YOU will live in the protected environment under a roof. The thing is: it is weather that causes deterioration of building materials. So, no weather, means little to no deterioration over MANY, many YEARS... Asphalt has a detrimental "feature", as it is made from heavy OIL as a binder for the sand and gravel. Oils evaporate over time and will leave oil residue condensation on any exposed surfaces inside of a house. Smokers see this exact same effect on the inside glass surfaces of a car as oils from the burning tobacco condense on everything on the inside of the car. It is just that you SEE the residue on the inside of the glass when you go to CLEAN the glass.

properly placed and finished concrete lasts longer outdoors then asphalt, is more versatile, so am now ondering why you would want to even use asphalt indoors
