What uses tension springs?
I was wondering if anyone knows of any every-day items that uses small tension springs( one that pulls close not pushes open. I.e trampoline spring)

A fish weight scale. Old adding machines had 50 or more of them. The door return spring on an oven. A garage door spring (oops- not small). The door spring on a dishwasher. The door spring on a toaster oven.
