Sony Vegas Pro 11 isnt Installing?

When i click the .exe it runs, but all that happens is a Preloader pops up(a thin rectangle) in the bottom right of my desktop And does nothing. i looked at task manager and seeked the Process, it was completely idle. Why is this happening, am i doing something wrong...Please help

My Computer meets the Specs of Sony Vegas Pro 11.

    Did you read the hardware requirements and compare them to your PC before you bought it?
