any manhatten ny person to answer.......?
there is a building you notice at night in times square. the roof has a trianguler side with a skinny spiral tower that changes color every few seconds. when i was there nobody could seem to answer what building it was and can't find it by search engine. any help would appreciated.
the colors range from yellow to green to blue etc. the skinny spiral is next to the triangle roof.

You're describing the Bank of America Tower, which is one block away from Times Square at 42nd and 6th:

It's one of two skyscrapers in the area that have lights that change color every few seconds, another one being 4 Times Square. (The ESB's lights change per night or per occasion, not every few seconds.)
