Using one keyboard with two Macs?

Is it possible for me to pair my Apple Wireless Keyboard with both my iMac and MacBook Air and then switch between the two with a keyboard shortcut or something? This would be a HUGE boost to my workflow.

It can be done. Each should remember its pairing as the computer logs the pairing and not the keyboard.

The worst case scenario would be to have one mac turned on at a time and re-pairing as needed. The problem with pairing with both and having them both turned on and in range is that the keyboard will try to input any keystrokes into both at the same time.

Another approach would be to download Chicken of the VNC. if you want to work with both on at the same time. It's a neat freeware program that allows you to actually see and work on the keyboard of one mac from another in a network!
