Why is my lip piercing sore?
I got my lip pierced in December 2010 (which means I've had it for about a year). It healed slowly but easily. It hasn't given me any trouble since January 2011. Two days ago I woke up and it was very sore. I don't remember doing anything to it. It's gotten progressively worse over the last two days. I've been doing saline soaks once a day in hopes it will relieve the pain/heal it. Anyone know why it's sore or how to heal it?

Infection ... take it out or you'll probably get a kilo... or maybe your skin isn't reacting well with the metal...beside the human mouth is full of germs and bacteria that's probably why its doing what its doing. Clean it well once its off.... go see a doctor or go back to the shop and see whats up.

Go see a doctor or the person who pierced you because it may get worse or who know what be cautious :/ hope you feel better
