RHH: What are your 5 favorite albums that El-P has been part of....?

Question

4. El-P - Fantastic Damage - 8.5
5. El-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead - 8.5

BQ: Buy or Sell: It took a long time for El-P to grow on you? For me, definitely so. I remember when I first heard Funcrusher Plus a couple of years ago it was a damn awful experience, but it really grew on me...mind you it took a long @ss time. Same with The Cold Vein, but not as much because I was used to that style of production.....so you?

BQ: I actually fell in love with his beats almost straight away. I remember listening to The Cold Vein on the way to school. It was snowing, and  was so overwhelmed by how captivating it was.

It was one of the first underground albums I listened to.

BQ: Buy. It took me a second listen to like Cannibal Ox Cold Vein and Funcrusher Plus production. The only song I used to like from Funcrusher was 8 steps to perfection which I heard for the first time on DJ Premier's new york reality check 101. As far as Fantastic Damage I didn't like that one no matter what, it sounds like a hot mess. I can't really get into the production at all. Overall I didn't like like any of the albums on the 1st listen to be honest, sometimes it takes time to appreciate things.... well maybe not a looong time like u said, but you get my point.
