I want to make an image black and white with no shades of grey. Is there a specific option for this. Just a literal black and white image where shaded parts are black and highlighted parts are white

but its really gonna not be good.
You could also convert the image to a duo-tone, and select white and black, that may get you closer to what you're after, then play with the levels and try to maximize your blacks and whites.
