what is a operating system?
THIS LAPTOP WILL NOT COME PRELOADED WITH AN OPERATING SYSTEM AND WILL NOT INCLUDE THE ORIGINAL RECOVERY MEDIA!! im stupid so im thinking about buying a laptop it says this is this bad.....

well your computer will come with nothing...
when you turn it on at some point it shall say that no operating system could be found.
at this point you can: a) buy Windows 7 (more common OS) or b) get a Linux bistro (who has a limited amount of software available)
PS: for linux bistro you will have to use another computer to download the .iso and put the .iso on a disk. after that you insert it to your laptop's disk tray and hit F12 and select the disc drive option. then follow the instructions in the disc.

An operating system is the box that everything goes in. On the top is usually a disc drive where you can put discs. My mum told me I could be anything i wanted to do so i went to university and did a course on philosophy and computer electronics.

It means your laptop will not have windows or Linux or any other software. You must provide your own copy.
