Ipad 2 layaway question?

My mom called me and asked what color ipad I want. (Of course I said white) She came home and told me she bought it from walmart.She said Ill get it on Christmas or maybe Christmas eve. It wasn't in the house or in the car. Is it in layaway??? My friend said its in layaway. My momisn'tt known for doing layway but she said its the only thing I'm getting for Christmas.

    Toys and electronics are available for layaway at Walmart. Merry Christmas.
