In an experiment of electric field on ping pong ball with EHT voltage.
What happen to the velocity of the ping pong ball if the distance between two metal plate increases.? why?

If the voltage (pd) across the plates is kept constant the strength of the electric field between the plates decreases.
If the field strength decreases so does the force on the charged ball .. which causes the ball to move slower.

i would imagine the velocity would decrease as the further apart the two metal plates are the less the ping pong ball would be affected by it
