Hi Nice to meet you guys

  • i need help on my attitude..?

I'm already in college but i do not know why my bad attitude is still with me. When i see my classmate i wanted to say hi but fear and shyness prevented me from doing so, and as a result i get labelled as cocky and show off but actually i'm not....Whenever i started talking to someone it will only last for a minute and then there is silence, i don't know how to carry on the conversation. Sometimes, i feel really depressed of my attitude. many times i decided to change but always end up failing. my social life ain't that good either cause i have only 1 or 2 friends.

I have a friend who stay nearby and we car pool but we also barely talk in the car. it is like i have nothing to say to her but in fact i know i do not know how to start a conversation and carry it on.

sometimes when there's homework given and i don't know how to do, i need to seek help from friends but the problem is i don't have much friend. At times, i get depressed on how to finish my work as i dont know how to do it.

I really really want to change my life , i want to be surrounded with friends and have a more positive outlook in my life. how can i start?

  • physics question help help not sure?

A 55 kg box with initial velocity of 0.45 ms−1 slides down a ramp inclined at an angle of 23° with the horizontal. If the coefficient of friction between the box and the ramp is 0.24, how fast will the box move after it travelled 2.1 m down the ramp?

please explain step by step how to solve. thx

  • physics question help help?

A block of mass 10kg is pulled up a a plane inclined at 30° with the horizontal for a distance of 5.0 m by a force of 120 N which acts along the plane. If the coefficient of kinetic friction is 0.4, calculate the velocity of the block after it has moved 5.0 m up the plane.

please explain step by step, thanks.

  • need help on friendship !!?

Hi all, recently i just started my college and there is a foreign student from Iran.

He looks really nice but at the same time shy.

I wish to be friends with him but my dad said that we do not know what's in his mind.

His motive may be to come here and sell drug or maybe capture me to his country to be slave.

You know, news like that often appear in the newspaper.

    Is my dad over thinking?

Hi all, recently i just started my college and there is a foreign student from Iran.

He looks really nice but at the same time shy.

He knows how to speak English but his slang is different from people in our country, hence the way I speak he can't seem to understand.

I wish to be friends with him and i decided to learn his language Persian(just the speaking part to make our conversation easier).

    Would he think i'm weird?

The flower pots are hanging stationary at a wall.

(the tension, T1 makes 30 degree.

    /\ <--string

    T1 / \ T2

    / ___\

    FLOWER POT HERE

    (weight= 10 N)

1.Compare tension T1 and T2. (the answers is the same but i dunno hw to get sum1 explain pls)

Another similar set up above is made but the angle now is 60 degree. Let the tension in the string be T3 and T4.

    Compare tension T1 and T3.

    my working is :

    2T1 sin 30=10 2T3 sin 60=10

    T1 sin 30=5 T3 sin 60 =5

    T1=10 N T3=5.78N

Hence, my answer is T1 has higher tension but my book answers is T3 higher tension than T1(can explain wat i did wrong? by resolving the force, the force horizontally is cos while vertically is sin.

    take vertical force = weight

    shud be correct right/

  • physics question nt sure?

the bigger the angle the higher the tension in the string. (in a situation where a flower pot is hanging stationary on a wall)

    Is this statement true?

but then i thought by resolving the force, we use T sin theta because we use vertical force.

Then equate with mg= T sin theta

By using theta i realize bigger angle produce smaller tension, can som1 explain
