Is this meal good for losing weight?
I had 1 boil in the bag rice served with 1 chicken breast gently fried in olive oil marinated in crushed chillis and peppercorn.
Then one egg fried and beaten to create almost some egg fried rice.
rice, egg and chicken essentially.
Trying to shed 30lbs before april. Went hard at the gym this morning so needed a big meal

With those foods your body is mainly taking proteins.
In this case if you really want to put off weight you have to train a lot.
Otherwise I tried almost the same meals (but I combined checks, eggs and rice with different salads) and it worked for me. Get rid of 17 kg. ( I guess that should be around 35lbs.) in 5-6 months.
Good Luck :)

No.
If it was white rice, it had around 43grams of carbohydrate. Carbohydrates activate your body's insulin to quickly push fat into storage. This is the exact opposite of what you are trying to accomplish. The chicken portion sounds good.
Egg is good.
About the exercise - this is the problem with working out to lose weight. It does not work. It makes you hungry and essentially puts all of the calories back into your body you were trying to lose.
Cut out the carbohydrates, including sugar and wheat and you will lose the weight faster than April, trust me. I lost 30 pounds in two months (and kept it off). I don't even think about my weight anymore, it is a non-issue. I just enjoy the food I eat. Let me know how it goes.
