Why is it I always start a conversation with my guy friend?
Well, we've been texting constantly, but I'm the one that always start it (although they go into many short conversations). Also, when we see each other in school, we still talk, but it's not the same, because he's more quieter. I don't know what to do because he doesn't seem to mind that we talk (in fact, I think that he has told me some stuff that he doesn't want anyone else to know), yet when we talk in school, he's a bit more quieter and more 'serious'.

Most people are bolder over texting/online and so he's probably just more shy in person. Maybe once and awhile wait for him to text you first. Even if he's shy he should take initiative too.
