if i want my refrigerator to be colder do i choose a higher or a lower number?
my refrigerator has a dial in the freezer and refrigerator compartments. The dial can be adjusted from 1 thru 7. which is the coldest setting? one or seven?

I always wondered this too..... But i think 7 is colder, since higher means more, and a fridge is supposed to chill things.
