Can you be too young for a serious relationship?

Hi i'm an 18 year old guy and my girlfriend is 16 and still in school. We're very much in love, but we broke up because she thinks she's too young for a relationship like this... although she still thinks we may end up together because she thinks we are meant to be together, but just not yet...what am i supposed to make of this? Even though she says she loves me so much, she said that she will get with other guys if it happens...but that she's not doing this so that she can get with other people...should i still wait if she's with other guys, is that fair?

    This has sort of happened to me as there is a 2 year difference in our relationship me being the younger one I would never break up with her because of our age and certainly not continue to date when I am still in love wiv her she doesnt love you enough to stay with u........unfortunately

    shes 16.. very young.. wants to experience life before committing herself.. She's saying she wants to be with other guys, meaning she's not ready and not expecting you to wait around for her..

    This is a very common line for girls to use on guys they dont want to hurt.. sorry sweetie..

    I understand you may love her, but being caught up in her and waiting for her while she messes around with a bunch of other guys is just going to hurt you over and over again..

    Let her go.. if she comes back in the future and you are still willing to give her a chance then so be it.. but i think this is it for now..

    also you are just about to hit your prime.. give yourself the opportunity to live and experience life, and enjoy it!
