There is a protagonist and antagonist to every story, a pro and a con to every situation, and a yin and a yang to everything. The same concept applies to China’s growth in the past three decades; there are two sidekicks behind China’s economic growth. One is good and makes China proud, while the other is full of evil intentions to destroy the world. Economic growth vs. pollution and the destruction of the planet we all live in. Environmental destruction is inevitably the bigger problem that must be resolved. Steps must be taken to protect our lives and resolve the problem that Mother Nature faces. The best way to lessen and reverse environmental damage is the implement local programs in the form of carpooling, energy conservation, and by simply reaching out, and national programs that result in more government regulation and advancements in environmentally healthier technology.
