Is it time to cut palestinian aid funding?

http://www.jpost.com/DiplomacyAndPolitics/Article....

The two congressmen explained to Dodaro that they “are troubled by reports of President Abbas’ use of Palestinian Investment Fund (PIF) funds to provide housing for these convicted terrorists.”

“At the ceremony Abbas held [in honor of released prisoners] in Ramallah, he is reported as having praised these individuals for their ‘courage and sacrifice,’” the Israel Beiteinu MK wrote. “The atrocities referred to by Abbas as acts of ‘courage’... include the murders of scores of innocents, including women and children.”

Not merely cutting, but stopping funding to the Palestinian Authority is, frankly, long overdue - and not just for reasons cited in the article. The ugly, brutal reality about Palestinian Authority politics is this - the ultimate goal of both main factions, Fatah and Hamas, is nothing less than the end of the state of Israel itself. The differences lie in two areas:

    1. Fatah is less aggressive and less honest about its intentions, while Hamas is more aggressive and more honest about its intentions. Therefore, the idea of a "peace process" with Israel is in practice nothing but an exercise in delusion and futility.

    2. While Fatah is secular nationalist in orientation, Hamas has a radical Islamist orientation that opposes not only the state of Israel but the very idea of the nation-state, which is regarded by them as nothing but an alien ideological import from the West.

I also favor stopping funding for the UN and ending foreign aid towards countries that are avowed enemies of the United States. As for the Palestinian Authority, while that entity's leaders may appear on the surface not to be anti-American, the political culture that entity nurtures within the territories it controls ranks up there with the most malignant countries in the world in terms of anti-Americanism, not just hostility towards Israel.

Yes, It is also time to cut funding to the UN which is a conduit of US funds to the PLA and other terrorist groups.

Absolutely......Not only Palestine but all the countries that hate us and use our money against us.
