Can I use regular frosting to make whipped cream?

Is there any way that doesn't use heavy cream?

Whipped cream has to contain cream ... frosting doesn't contain any, or if it has any it's a tiny amount. So the answer to that is 'no'. But there's a special type of cream called whipping cream that isn't quite as rich as heavy cream that is best for making whipped cream.

Whipped cream contains...surprise!.. cream. And it has to be heavy cream or it won't whip. If you whip frosting you will get whipped frosting.
