To be honest i would lie about it because it is so unfair for your dad! You can't expect your dad to give you a job and now make him hate it so much and hate jon it is NOT fair.

You need to sort this mess out even if it is lying, I would never encourage lying but if i was in the situation i would lie to keep my dad happy, its not fair on him!!

i dont think lying will help matters. Maybe have a talk with jon and see if the two of you can have a talk with your dad about what happened say something like it was a stupid mistake and apologize.

Your old enough to make your own decisions in life, so what if you slept with your dads best Manet he has to get over it, people sleep with all sorts of people and get over it... my dad had an affair and when my mum found out they had huge arguments for the next month or so but they are still together. YOur dad in a way is been selfish if he is stopping you doing stuff Coz you slept with his friend. Unless your dad was actually dating this friend, then he shouldn't really be bot herd. This is your parents problem.....not yours. If your dad feels uncomfotable at work then thats something only he can deal with... Speak with your parents....tell them that your not the little girl that they obviously still see you as..you are an adult and are out in the world doing what all adults do !
