Oblivion: The Ultimate Hiest ...bug? I dno, something weird is going on.?
Around the middle of this quest (when you break into the palace to steal the Elder Scroll) some NPC's started being highlighted in pink/purple. I figured it was a part of the quest to make sneaking easier, but I'm done the quest (douchebag just forces this Grey Fox **** on you) and it's still happening -- only it's gotten worse. Is this a bug or is there something I can do about this?
Oh, that's what that is? I was wearing the Ring of Detect Life. Cool. That **** was annoying me.

you must be a vampire or have a ring or jewelry that can detect life go into active affects and it will have "detect life" some where
you will then have to go through what ever your wearing to see what it is failing that wait a day or so to see if its a spell or potion
