Did you put the fish in the tank right when you got home? Did you use water purification's? Please update you info.

My first guess is ammonia poisoning which usually comes from not changing your tank water often enough. The smaller the tank, the more often you have to change it. 5 gallon tank, once a week. 20-30 gallon, change water once every 2-3 weeks.Greater, every 3 weeks. You could/should get a water test kit and test your water occasionally. Once a month is good.

Maybe the environment in the tank is stressing them out. Some fish act weird, others don't but people can't help you if you don't provide more information.
