Popping noises on car?
I have a 2007 mustang gt and when I brake, as soon as I come close to stopping I hear a popping noise I changed pads but not the rotors a month ago. There are otherpopping noises like in the morning when I start driiving and I turn the wheel left or right. Usually only when I first start the car.

You say brake pads and everyone jumps on that.
How about looking at the suspension parts. You say your almost at a stop so that is when your suspension is starting to return to it's normal place. There may be bushings missing from the shocks or the rear springs/coils are hitting the stops and the plastic pads are gone.

check the calipers. you could have 1 that,s catching and letting go. take the calipers off the rotors but don,t remove the hose. clean up the slides where the calipers bolts to and smear a light coat of high temperature grease on the slides so the calipers can slide back and forth easy.

You need to change your avatar name. "Overkill"? you don't even put rotors on when doing a brake job! How about "Numnuts"?
