Allergic reaction should I go hospital?
Would it be pointless to go hospital? I've had an allergy for the past four weeks that's spread on my arms, face and legs the doctors have give me anti biotics, steroids and cream nothing seems to be working and last time I had an allergy I went straight to hospital and it went. Would they just tell me it a waste of time of going? Cba sitting there for 5 hours with nothing done.

Unless it is life threatening go back to your doctor. If your throat starts to close then go to hospital, but unlikely as you have had it for a while now.

If you've had it for 4 weeks, then I don't see why you would go to the hospital - that's where you would go if you were going into anaphylactic shock ie an emergency. You should ask your doctor to refer you to a specialist (dermatologist probably) since topical treatments aren't working and the antibiotics probably eliminate the possibility of a rash caused by infection. Rashes, btw, can also be caused by fungus, so while you're waiting for your dermatologist appt you could try cutting refined sugar out of your diet to see if it helps.

From experience some hospitals will get straight to the problem but others will just give u the same meds and cream u already have. If ur throat or tongue starts swelling go asap... but u do need to get ur doctor to find the source of the problem.. something is causing this and they need to figure it out.. so if it is worth going to the er for another opinion then go.. but light a fire under ur docs butt to find out whats going on if u dont. Good luck. God bless.

You should get tests done to find out what you are allergic to.
Maybe its not an allergy - see a dermatologist. Cut out all allergy causing foods from your diet.

an allergic reaction can kill you if you don't treat it, at any time that you come in contact with anything that makes you get an allergic reaction you should always definitely take care of it by at least going to your general doctor or a clinic. good luck with it!!!
