can old IMACS FROM 2007 GET VIRUSES?
i just downloaded winzix successfully which has 4 viruses in, i done because it is the only website to have the program and was told apple don't get viruses. will this affect me ??? they also cannot be deleated

Are you running Windows? WinZix is Windows software. It is free software and should be downloaded from the winzix.org site. If you are running Windows on the iMac it is liable to be infected by the myriad Windows viruses. There are no viruses that infect Mac OS X.

It depends. Most viruses are for PC, but if somebody took the time to remake the virus onto a MAC version, then yes. But it shouldn't affect you because I have downloaded a lot of "shady" things on my MAC and nothing has happened.
