Why does my sister copy me all the time?

Your sister thinks you hung the moon and she wants to be just like you. I hope you'll work on understanding her motivation and be patient. Try noticing when she does those things that you know are unique to her. Reinforce her uniqueness by giving her positive feedback...be interested in those things, ask her how she does it, tell her how awesome it is that she can be, have, or do whatever it may be, when she's where she can overhear your conversation tell someone else how awesome you think your sister is. Commit to making that change for the next twelve months and you will be surprised what a difference it will make:)

She's at that age where she is trying to find out what her style is, but that process starts by her copying things of other girls she admires. Obviously being her older sister means that she looks up to you as well. You're obviously a cool sister if she's copying everything you're doing. There's a saying in life that states that copying someone else is the sincerest form of flattery there is. Okay, so it's annoying but she's your little sister and she'll find her own way soon enough :)

Maybe she looks up to you in some way, i don't know i have 2 sisters and im the middle child..my younger sister copied everything i did right from my attitude to the way i dress and acted. And for me also having an older sister. I thought she was "cool" always wondered what her and her friends did to make them have that "cool" appearance or personality. BUT i never copied her i just observed how she acted with her friends how she treated people. But i realized that me and her were nothing alike so i mostly seemed to be a lot closer to my younger sister. IDK if my answer even helped.

you should take this as a compliment!! Its only a phase, she's your little sister and she looks up to you, your the figure in her life thats inspiring her to become who she is. don't worry, like i said it's only a phase soon she will find someone new to look up to, whether its a movie star or a friend or other family member. Im your sure you did the same thing at one point in your life, you just didn't realize it.

She wants to be like her big sister. It's okay, but your right about having her own personal style and personality. If you tell her to stop it might hurt her feelings, but maybe let her know it's okay, but she doesn't have to copy every little thing you do.

She looks up to you as her big sister . Try and be a good example for her sake :) ( Im 14 , and have a younger brother ,I'd be flattered if he ever thought I was " cool enough" to copy .

I am a younger sister and I used to always copy my sister she is like my bestfriend now she does it because she want to be like you because she thinks you are cool and her roll model. my sister used to be annoyed until we started to hangout and she would invite me places that made her the best sister!

maybe your looking a bit too deeply into it like her having a bath and a ponytail etc. She just admires you :)

Its her age, she will grow out of it, but at the moment she just wants to be like her cool big sister. I know its annoying, but your her role model. Just endure it, it wont be forever :)
