The simple answer is that it's tough to get anyone to agree on anything. Think about ordering a pizza to share with one of your friends for lunch; you'll still be arguing about toppings come dinner time.
There are a lot of compromises, learning, anticipation of needs, sacrifices, and you have to balance it all like a stilt walker juggling pregnant cats and chainsaws.
Friendships are easy, a loving relationship is a bit more difficult.
