no available wifi channels to use?

scanning my area with inSSIDer it shows three wifi APs that are already using channels 1 , 6, and 11. My verizon wireless router uses channel 11, and the other ones are neighboring wifi APs. So I'm not sure what channel I should choose for my second wifi router in my house. I'm using it to "extend" the wifi signal for our internet. anny ideas?

Your router should work on any channel that you choose. I have used my router on a bunch of different channels. Just pick any channel beside 1, 6, and 11 and it should work. try channel 9.
