What are some good older PC games (2004-2006)?

I'm going on holiday and can't bring my PS3 along so if i want to play games i will have to resort to my low spec ended laptop.

Specs are :

Intel dual core processor T3200

732 MB Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M

2 GB RAM

I highly enjoy games like Battlefield 2, Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2, Star Wars Empire at War and Star Wars Knights of the old republic 1 and 2. These are the games I have on PC and love.

Please recommend a few games for me!

(PS: I usually have to play on medium graphics with these older games)

Get the Orange Box with Steam; Half life 2 (w/ Half life 2: episode 1 + 2), Team fortress 2 and Portal

Try out Day of Defeat: Source and Counter strike, they keep me occupied when I just want to relax.

Team fortress 2 is free to play if you don't want to pay anything

Battlefield: play-for-free is good fun, same with Battlefield: Heroes

Steam are having a sale and (conveniently) it's on for another half an hour. There's some stuff to check out, I seriously recommend having a look!

Lego Racer and Lego Racer 2 are awesome....!!!!!!

But, Idk if you would like them.. Hrmmmm......

The fourth chapter in the myst series is part of a dying breed. Adventure games (in the classic sense) have been on their way out of the market place for some time now. In their place stand countless action games and first-person shooters, most of which are hardly worth the volume they occupy on store shelves. Certain developers have tried in vain to save the floundering adventure genre by inundating the marketplace with insipid Myst clones; titles featuring a string of illogical puzzles without so much as a sentence of riveting dialogue or narrative. So perhaps you could consider that.

Or MAX's World of Warcraft or Modern Warfare 2.
