Na2CO3 help? ions and mol?

so i am confused on how to do this problem. someone please explain to me.

I am given 3.00 mol of Na2Co3 .... my unkown is ions. How do i find the number of sodium ions in this problem? i've been trying to figure this out and im am soo confused. please explain?

Also how would you go from ions to moles?

    Na2CO3 ---> 2Na+ + CO3 2-

    as you can see from the equation above, 1 mole Na2CO3 gives 2 moles of sodium ions.

    so if you have 3.00 mol Na2CO3 that is 6 mol Na+ sodium ions.
