Housing a full grown burm..?

Most of my larger boids are housed in 6 ft long enclosures similar to animal plastics and they work great but Im considering converting a big walk in closet into an enclosure for my burm. He's still little so I've got time. I want to know if anyone's done this and if so, any tips?

I was thinking of tiling the whole thing and possibly installing heated tiles on part of it... Lighting on the ceiling? I don't really know, how would I install a thermostat to regulate heated tiles? Maybe replacing the door with a clear acrylic locking door.. I'm totally challenged in the carpentry and blue printing area so any advice is welcome...thanks.

I've heard of people doing this but don't actually know anyone who has.

House your adult Burm in a 6X3 for a male or an 8X3 for a female. You will have much better control of heating and humidity. Speaking of humidity, the biggest problem (other than safety) is starting mold in your house trying to keep proper humidity in closet or room enclosures.

Another issue is safety. The feeding response of a large constrictor like a Burmese python is nothing to be trifled with. In a cage, you have control of the snake. In a room or large closet enclosure, you lose this control and can pay dearly for that. Feeding accidents with adult Burms are no laughing matter.
