Because that would prove his/her existence. And we can't have that.

After Adam doubted and trashed God's word way back in the garden, God's primary goal was to restore his word unto all the earth. He did so over the next several thousand years.

Jesus explained that he did his miracles for one reason only - to prove that he was the Son of God, God himself in the flesh, and that he could therefore also forgive sins.

Now today, we have God's word restored. And like Adam, we are faced with a choice to either believe or doubt it. And we will be judged one by one for that choice.

We have in God's word the benefits of the law, the prophets, all Jesus' miracles - everything. We need nothing more than God's word now. We no longer require miracles in order to believe.

    We have God's Word!

Num 23:19 God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

We do not see God performing such miracles by the hands of his Christian servants today, because all needed things are present and available to the literate population of the world, and to help those who cannot read but who will listen, there are mature Christians who have knowledge and wisdom gained by study and experience. It is not necessary for God to perform such miracles at this time to attest to Jesus Christ as God’s appointed deliverer, or to provide proof that He is backing up His servants. Even if God were to continue to give his servants the ability to perform miracles, that would not convince everyone, for not even all the eyewitnesses of Jesus’ miracles were moved to accept his teachings. (Joh 12:9-11) On the other hand, scoffers are warned by the Bible that there will yet be stupendous acts of God performed in the destruction of the present system of things.—2Pe 3:1-10; Revelation chaps 18, 19.

My guess, is because the bible is completely written and God feels that nothing more has to go into it. A lot of the absence has to do with Jesus being on earth. He said: An evil and adulterous generation demands a sign, but no sign will be given to it except for the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was in the belly of the great fish three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. From Jesus forward, it's all about faith.

During the time of Christ mankind had to actually see a miracle occur.

When Jesus gathered His Apostles His mission was to evangelize a New Covenant, the latter would not be an easy task.

Mankind had to see first hand that Jesus was the Son of God, Christ had to physically touch the majority of individuals while others were present to display the truth of Christianity.

The reason we don't see miracles today is because the mission of Jesus is complete via the Bible.

Our Lord provided the parable to Thomas to specifically address the latter situation as we read in John 20:29

"Jesus said to him, "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

This verse is a beatitude on future generations; faith, not sight, matters.

The genuine miraculous healings recorded in the Christian Greek Scriptures clearly identified Jesus and the apostles as being from God. (John 3:2; Hebrews 2:3, 4) Jesus’ miraculous cures also supported the message he preached: “He went around throughout the whole of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news of the kingdom and curing every sort of disease.” (Matthew 4:23) Jesus’ powerful works—which included not only healing the sick but also feeding the multitudes, controlling the elements, and even raising the dead—demonstrated what he will accomplish for obedient mankind under his Kingdom rule. Good news indeed!

Such powerful works, or gifts of the spirit, passed away with the death of Jesus and the apostles and any to whom they passed on the gifts. The apostle Paul wrote: “Whether there are gifts of prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are [miraculously spoken] tongues, they will cease; whether there is [divinely revealed] knowledge, it will be done away with.” (1 Corinthians 13:8) Why? Having accomplished their purpose—identifying Jesus as the promised Messiah and the Christian congregation as favored by God—such powerful works, including healing, are no longer needed; they are “done away with.”

Still, Jesus’ miracles of healing have an important message for us today. If we pay attention to and exercise faith in what Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God, we can look forward to the time when the inspired prophecy will be fulfilled both spiritually and physically: “No resident will say: ‘I am sick.’”—Isaiah 33:24; 35:5, 6; Revelation 21:4.

At my facts, there aren't people like Moises, Abraham, Jesus, or David, Noel, or any other bible historical character anymore.

The world turn to be more cruel, and the people are not so nice anymore.

But, there are miracles, even if you don't see them.

The fact that a kid from cancer is alive and survived, is a miracle.

The fact that some people in the world are nice and they help others, that's a miracle.

    Some nature facts, are miracles.

Those are miracles before salvation of Christ, some would argue that they don't apply anymore since it's the old testament and salvation isn't exclusive anymore to Judaism.

I wouldn't necessarily argue it that way.. but there are healing miracles all the time, like from the New Testament.

because there are so many unfaithful people today. we are too human. if someone did part the sea, there would be people trying to find a logical answer. they would say "its not God, it this" thats why

Theres no need for it now. In the Old Testiment they needed that stuff otherwise no one would believe that Jesus is the son of God.

they served specific purposes at specific times - and were recorded in the bible - that was one of the purposes.

Why would He do the same today?
