Who is in the wrong in this situation?

We do not have a lock on our bathroom door. this morning i got up and had a shower and my dad came in to the bathroom. "dad, i'm in here, please go away!" i yelled. He didnt knock or anything and you can hear the water of the shower before you reach the bathroom. also, the bathroom door was closed. he didn't go so i yelled more and he yelled at me and i know i shouldn't have yelled but he goes "how am i supposed to brush my teeth?" and i go "Wait 5 minutes, i'll be out in five minutes!" "5 minutes is too long!" he said. so he got all annoyed and then he went and got mum and she yelled at me too! Who is in the wrong? i am 15 years old and i know i shouldn't of yelled so much, i could have asked him calmly. in the end he left but i feel that what he did was wrong. Who was in the wrong? Also, we do have a shower curtain but it is a see through one.

Your dad was wrong. And so was your mom. You were using the bathroom so he should have waited his turn. He does not get a free pass because he is older. If he was so desperate to brush his teeth he should have taken his toothbrush and the toothpaste to the kitchen sink and brushed his teeth there.

your father is in the wrong. and if he could hear the shower on before he got to the bathroom and you have see through curtains (and he knows this i'm assuming) then it seems like he did it to peek on you.

it depends who has the busiest schedule. if he is late for work (and is paying the bills) then he has priority and you need to work your schedule around him. Adults being late to work can lead to them losing their jobs. Though i do agree he shouldnt come in when you are inside. from his perspective...youre his little girl,. theres nothign to see he'd be interested in

best way is to discuss who can use bathroom when, and to say "i am havign a shower, do you need to use the bathroom/brush your teeth first"

dad is wrong. calmly talk to mom about it and have her talk to him about how innappropriate it is for him to enter bathroom when you are in there. caveat: always make sure everyone knows you're gonna hit the shower and have had an opportunity to use it first...
