My HP laptop `s screen goes black several times.?

someone said it's the AMD Turion that's over heating .Pls help !

    Your backlight may be going dead! Or sometimes your Graphics chip does something weird and dosent display stuff properly, have u tried updating the drivers and BIOS updates

    ive had a simalar problem with my HP. the screen buzzes and blinks but doesnt go black... i think it may be the backlight starting to go out.
