If I un-friend someone on Facebook...?

If I un-friend someone on Facebook, I no longer see their status updates and info.

Can they still see mine?

    Yes unless ur account is private or you blocked them. If you block them they will not see anything, it will be like your account doesnt exsist.

    depends if either of you are still subscribed to each other

    each to check, just go to his profile and see if the subscribe button has a checkmark on it

    you dont have to be on someone's friend list in order to subscribe to them
