Should I ask my guy friend to go see a play with me?

Well, I kinda have a crush on him, and my school is hosting their annual holiday play next week. We text alot and, since he is in two of my classes, we talk alot in them. I'm not sure if it would be a good idea. Any thoughts?

    just casually ask him! i'm sure he'll say yes!! and look super hot on the night so he might ask you out or something ;)
