What is wrong with MySpace?
So, I havent logged onto myspace in about two years, but my account was still good. I reset my password but it logged me into some other girl's account. Has this happened to anyone? My account is still active because I typed in my url and my account was right there. Does anyone know what I can do?
I have so many pictures on my albums that I want to retrieve, thats the only reason I'm trying to log back in.

Abraxus, I caught something a while back with email addresses, one day when I was bored, and saw where there were four different accounts for that email address. I took me by surprise. How it happened I have no idea, but that was the result I got. It shouldn't have worked, but it did. You and I both know that something like that shouldn't have occurred, yet for some fluke reason it did. However I don't remember the email address I used, and got those results with. I'm not sure what to tell them to do to resolve the issue. I did it again looking for a friend from my days also on the old MSN Game Zone where I had also been a moderator, and again I got more than one result. So there was a bug in the programming that let it happen. but after that I dumped the email as there was no account for that friend. My bet is if there are two instances where a different email address was used, and more than one account somehow was managed to be created for that email address, then there are a few more where that happened. Out of more than two hundred million accounts it would be almost as bad as finding a needle in a haystack, finding out those and any other instances, where that happened.
However now that the forums now gone, and I'm not a moderator I don't really have or know anyone to contact to let know, or have look at this post here. If they had left the forums then maybe I or one of the now other former moderators could have helped get it resolved. I had at least three to five people I could have contacted but they were all let go back in, or before September. If I can think of or find someone, then I'll send them a link to this post to look at it, and see if they can help resolve the issue. I had hoped that maybe you might have some idea what to do. Usually I can come up with something from out in left field sop to speak, but this was one I couldn't.
C Star, Abraxus, and I used to help other users on MySpace, in the forums before they shut down back in October of this year. If the two of us, don't what to tell you to do, then best thing to do is to try contacting MySpace, with the URL to your account that is your account and the other one. Also I would suggest and you don't need logged in, but click on the Search People, then check the email to see if any other accounts are somehow linked to that email. This is a freak and fluke type of thing, and at the time I got busy, and forgot about what I saw the two times it happened, until you posted here, the issue you have. It's basically going to take someone that is with MySpace, to look into, and help you to resolve this issue. This is to in the end, and to say the least, an unusual situation, that is a fluke, and that by no means should have happened.
C Star, these are the people I knew, Eric Gen, Sean (former V.P. of Marketing), Mike, and Micheal Jones (former President of MySpace) were the only ones that worked for MySpace, who I had, had contact with, but left by Sept of this year. Otherwise I would be kicking this up to one of them, but least like Mike Jones, since he helped orchestrate so many major changes after co-founders Tom Anderson, and Chris DeWolf departed from MySpace, as President and CEO. So you may not be the only one that is going to run into this issue eventually, and need a resolution of some type.
