Am I at risk of long term damage from Advil?
I'm taking a 400 mg tablet twice a day and have been for a week because of tooth pain. Lat month I had a siomilar condition on the other side of my mouth and did the same for about three weeks. Can I keep doing this for another week or so, or is it too much?

I think it could be that you are having a tooth infection, as that is what is causing the pain.

You seem to be taking it as per the label, good for you!
As long as you stay on label, then you are OK. However, read it carefully. I am sure that there is mention that if the condition persists past XX number of days, then consult a physician. That doesn't mean that the Advil becomes dangerous after that time, rather there is an underlying condition that needs to be treated. Tooth pain is often caused by infection brewing underneath which is dangerous to your heart/overall health.
