Is there 2 separate HDD or are they 2 separate partitions? (id imagine 2 partitions, as most laptops arnt capable of using 2+ hdd, only the REALLY high end ones are)
If they are 2 separate partitions you can take some from one and put it on the other w/o affecting anything.
Go to start > right click on my computer and click manage, or just type computer management into the search bar.
In that window, click on disk management.
Right click on the volume you wish to take free space from. Then click shrink volume.
Go through the process window that comes up (remember 1024MB=1GB, also if you have 10GB of free space on that drive, doesnt mean you will be able to take 10GB away.)
This will take that much and it will show up as partitioned space.
Then right click your main partition, choose extend volume, and chose the unpartitioned space and set it to use all of the space.
and your done, restart your computer.
(and if you want to take precautions, defragment both partitions first. then restart your computer. Then go to start > computer > right drive > properties > tools > error checking. Check each for errors, and repair if needed. restart your computer. Doing this will not only have less chances of things going wrong and you losing data, and defraging can open up more space you could take from a partition).

There is a way to do that. You can't add the two drives together but you can convince Windows that it's still using drive C for certain things when it's really using drive D by creating symbolic links.
Example - moving your Steam games folder to drive D
Close Steam down
Copy the Steam folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam to D:\Steam
Delete the original Steam folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam
Open the command prompt from the start menu (type cmd.exe into the search box)
At the command prompt type the following command:
mklink /J "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam" "D:\Steam"
You've just made a link on the C drive where Steam was that will make Windows access it's new location on the D drive without even realising that it's doing so, it'll behave as if it's still where it used to be, including when you install new games through Steam.
So to recap:
mklink /J "original folder location" "new folder location"
Apart from this you can right click your personal folders (My Music, My Documents, etc) and relocate them to your new drive, Windows will ask if you want it to move all the files to the new location for you.
Edit: It's a laptop? In that case the only option open to you is to buy a larger drive and clone yours onto it unless you have a rare laptop with two hard drive bays.

frankly, i'd would desire to palms-directly to point you properly right here, yet many times i'd say 35Gb is very small whilst in comparison with the computers accessible at the instant. there is a number of possibililties as to the type you would be able to desire to physique of recommendations this reckoning on no remember in case you have subsidized up or saved your records someplace else. in case you have, and in case you have your unique production unit restore disks, then experiement with deleting the records and notice what occurs. If a concern happens, you could basically reinstall the OS and start up clean. or you would be able to desire to easily get a clean, larger perplexingpersistent and clone out of your modern-day perplexingpersistent and press on. or you could take it to a consultant who'll probable sell you a clean perplexingpersistent besides. good luck
