Audio cuts out during torrent movie of PS3?
This is the first time this has happened to me. I had The Smurfs movie on a flash drive. The file is a .avi. It was going fine until about 20-30 minutes in and the audio cuts out and a grey bar pops up with text. I couldn't catch what it said. Does this have something to do with the latest PS3 update? 4.00? Cause I never had this problem before with any movie.

No, you can't download torrents on the PS3. You can try to find a direct download or download it on your computer and then copy it on to the PS3.

if it was because of the update, it would have stopped the movie within 10mins with a black screen, words all over the screen, something a bout a website that wont allow it to play. since you didnt see that, im guessing you just have a faulty copy of the movie. try out this website. you might have to search a little before you find the smurfs.
