My puppy has been shaking for hours?

He is around 9 weeks old and today he started shaking and hasn't stopped, he has slept and eaten so he has an appetite, hes gone to the loo and seems happy because hes playing with the cat but he just keeps shaking, its scarring me what does this mean what could it be?

Dogs/puppies shake for four reasons, normally -

    1. Cold

    2. Fear

    3. Pain

    4. Something neurological

Up the heat where he is and see if this makes a difference. If he's eating and emptying normally, I'd not be too concerned as in this being an emergency. But if he's not better by the time your vets open, I'd get him checked. Obviously if he deteriorates, you need to see a vet asap.
