Where can I get an ethernet controller driver for a Gateway fx6800-01e Vista OP Intel-i7 processor?
I recently formatted the aforementioned computer's disk and need to download the ethernet driver to access the internet on it. I already used Driver Robot exporting, but it didn't give the ethernet driver, can someone suggest a program that will or some website with the specific driver available to download?
Also I'm unable to access the gateway website on the current computer I'm downloading the drivers on (it's very very old), so don't suggest that.

driverguide.com should have it. If you are having trouble getting to the internet on your old computer, I would suggest having a friend find it. If you don't know the specific hardware of your ethernet controller, then download (again on your old or a friends computer) a program called belarc,com . It will tell you your hardware and then you can search for the correct driver. Hopefully you have a thumb drive to put it on and transfer it to the GW.
