How much noise coming from a car air conditioner is to much?
I just bought a 2002 BMW 325i with 99,000 miles. when I turn on the AC it makes a gurring noise, more so about 2000 Rpm!
When I turn the radio on I don't hear it so it not real loud!

either way, if the noise is one that is unusual for a car, there is a problem. what i suggest is that you get it checked. it could be a like. in fact, with an electronic leak detector (http://www.electronicleakdetector.net/refrigerant/... you could check for a leak yourself.
hope its nothing a few bucks can't fix

depends on high high your AC is turned up. if it's on low setting and making alot of noise, then you have a problem. if it's turned up full blast, it's supposed to make a louder sound
