It is good from the stand-point of allowing everybody to believe as they are convicted. However, they can't all be correct. Thus, from the stand-point of having the Truth, as it were, religious diversity is bad. Why? Because religious diversity can promote a laziness for caring about what is absolutely true -- in favor of just doing that which is convenient

However, you can't use what some Man says as a measure of what is Truth. Man, after all, is a whimsical creature -- blown about by the winds of tradition. There has to be an Immovable Standard which comes from outside the realm of Man. Naturally, one has to first be able to accept that there *is* something outside the realm of Man. ;-)

Thus, religious diversity must be allowed to flourish in order to prevent the atrocities which come about when a Man tries to dictate what is Truth. At the same time, though, the sincere seeker will accept that there is only One Truth and One Way and will require only themselves to walk in it.

    God bless.

There is esoteric and exoteric parts of religion, one develops the being and the other develops business and deluded people in the said order.

Expurgated thus Heroicized monotheistic elements of religion appears to tell its troops they are the chosen ones, and that all others are the enemy.

Possibly the parables and the words of enlightened beings perverted for purposes of acquiring false pervasive power over others, who then tells the uneducated, the desperate, the poor thus the easily suggestible how things should be(False God False reality), then with force and enslavement to capitalism > subjugates.

The Persians used this in the form of Zoroastrianism along with force to rule half the known world (500 BCE)

So did the Roman Empire Catholicism 44 BC to 1453 AD

In 1209, Pope Innocent III in Bezier France raised Catholic forces and massacred 20,000 Gnostic’s who made every effort to follow the teachings of Jesus.

They believed that there were two "gods" — one malevolent in charge of all visible and material things held responsible for all the atrocities in the Old Testament, and a benevolent god responsible for the message of Jesus.

So did the Ottoman Empire (1301-1922)

    So did the British Empire.

So did the Spanish and Portuguese, in South America 1494 which went on for 400 years, (All threatening a version of the truth and reality held by the empowered, a threat to castle insanity/false empires) all which fell, all which will fall.

The trouble is, dictatorships are given rise to result of cultural moral decay. > (More immoralities committed upon each other)

What these people have done is delude people then give them knives/capitalism, it’s evil.
