yugioh vwxyz union monster summoning question?
okay, i summoned yz- tank dragon, and my next draw was x- head cannon. can i summon xyz dragon cannon with the two cards, or do i need to return both y and z to my side of the field to summon it. also my opponent has ordeal of a traveler on his field, if i get the quess wrong, does yz go to my hand, graveyard or fusion deck?

well in order to summon vwxyz, you must have a XYZ and VW on the field. XYZ can only be summonned by removing X-head Cannon, Y-Dragon Head, and Z-Metal Tank at the same time. If you have already used the cards to summon something else like your YZ-tank dragon then you cannot summon XYZ with x-head cannon. and if you guess wrong then yz goes to your fusion deck since it is a "fusion" card after all, even if it doesnt need Polymerization to be summoned.

The card says you have to remove X, Y, and Z, to special summon it. You cannot do it the way you suggest. Fusion monsters when they leave play always go to the fusion deck.

you would need to summon y and z to your side of the field then remove x, y, and z to summon Xyz, and with ordeal of the traveler if you guess it wrong Xyz goes to your extra deck. or you could just use xyz's effect and destroy ordeal of a traveler.
