why do so many pakistanis think they are descendents of a different race and have nothing to do with India and?

Hinduism what so ever, evn though most of them look like Indians and speak a language that is not unintelligible to Indians and share a common heritage with Indian culture, sufiism, lapup bollywood movies. Whereas the people of the races they want to identify with, dont own up them. Is this behavior out of a fear, that two nation theory wont be tenable if they agree to the obvious fact or any other genuine reason?

I notice how some people want to excuse it by suggesting they are different. Bull. They are generally the same and it is their predudice and ignorance that makes them think they are different. Instead of focusing on the differences, we should focus on the commonality. We all have the same ancestors and Indians and Pakistanis share a very recent common ancestry.

First of all, India is not all ONE race. Most Pakistanis (except the migrants) are very different from the southern Dravidian populations.

Most Pakistanis are Punjabi, Kashmiri, Pashtun and Sindhi, these are a groups of Indo-aryans, If you were to trace these peoples histories back to Hinduism, they were from the higher castes. They are mostly Caucasian, where Indians are mixed with Australoids and Mongoloids.

In reality, an average indian is a few times darker with more "blunt" facial features. Most of the Hindi Cinema actors/actresses were Hindu migrants from Pakistan when the partition took place. So racially they're still Pakistani. That's why they look so different from an average person from Delhi or Mumbai.

So culturally, they are very simmilar, food, dance, music, mannerisms. But racially, they are definitely different. India is a country with over 2000 races and ethnicities. With skin colours ranging from pale (very rare) to black (very common), where Pakistani's are mostly tan.

No its not like as u said.( First remember Pakistan has 98% muslim population). Actually as i said Some more or less 50 Pakistanis belong to Indian races and rest belong to non Indian races. And how we know that? Answer is simple. Tribe/Caste system has deep roots here so whenever we make new friends in college/office/or anywhere else we definitely ask to which tribe do you belong to? And every body here know background of its tribe.

Actually Hindus think we try to make ourselves superior by calling ourselves Arabs. But its not like that here. If someone is Raj put, Gujjar or Jat (Native tribes inhabiting this area for about 4 to 5 thousand years) he is proud of his race and if some one belongs to Arab race like Syed, Paracha, Sheikh, Siddiqi, Faroqi or anyother he is proud of it. Similarly if someone is of non arab non indian race like Arain(Aryans), Mughal(mongols), Pasha(Turk), Pathan (Bani Israel), Tughlaq, Khilji or any other than he is proud of his.

If you talk about all population of india than your figures are right. But i am just talking about MUSLIM population living in Subcontinent especially Pakistan.

Moreover two nation theory has nothing to do with races. Two nation theory says Hindus and muslims are different nation on the basis of RELIGION not Races. So either if 100% pakistanis have Hindu ancestory it dont affects Two Nation theory. And muslims throughout the world consider themselves part of one nation ' The Ummah' on basis of religion not Races.

Source(s): I am Pakistani interested in history of our all tribes. My figures about population are a kind of my own survey.

Agreed. British colonization left them (and even some Indians) with an inferiority complex about their own race.

they are separated from India and therefor have nothing to do with them anymore

canada and usa share a lot of similar ties but they are DIFFERENT

its not out of fear, they are their own distinct country with different culture

similar isn't the same, they are distinct NOT THE SAME

It is convenient to believe that, total nonsense but convenient.
