Relationships are never illegal lol. If you were having sex with him, then the SEX would be considered rape. That would be federal law. I don't know about state laws though. Hope this helps!

Well where I live age of consent is 16, and it's usually between 16-18 for other places. But your mom also did not forbid you from dating, so as long as she doesn't call the cops or try to get the law involved, you're fine. once you turn 18 then you don't need to worry about it.

In most states as lon as you don't have sex he should be safe then again if your parents do not approve they have every right to keep him from seeing you until you are of age. He is an adult by law and you are by law still considered a minor until you turn 18...then you can decide freely what choices to make with your dating life and so on. Just keep it safe, keep it clean, and dont get anyone in trouble. :)

i think like the early 20s are continuously a era of experimentation.
